Very soon the year 2016 is coming to an end.... Some are happy because they believe the new year will come along with numerous blessings and prosperity. However, some may also be happy because the bad moments associated with this very year will soon be over, but when am asked to use one word, I mean just a word to describe this year, then the word "disappointment" comes to mind.
But come to think of this, must we keep brooding over the past and it's tragedies? The episodes of the past are finished, and trust me sadness cannot retrieve them, melancholy cannot make things right and depression will never bring the past back to life, this is because the past is non-existent. Yes, I didn't have the past easy either, life is been hard and those we trusted so much left bizarre wounds in our hearts and minds but trust me you don't live in the nightmares of former times or under the shade of what you've missed. Save yourself from the ghostly apparition of the past.
Wait a minute and then reflect on this, Do you think that you can return the sun to it's place of rising, the baby to its mother's womb, milk to the udder or tears to the eye? By constantly dwelling on the past and it's happenings , you place yourself in a very frightful and tragic state of mind.
Reading too much into the past events in 2016 will be a waste of the present 2017 you yearning to achieve success. As you read this, remember that, former days are gone and done with , and you benefit nothing by carrying out an autopsy over them????, by turning back the wheels of history.
Finally, the person who lives in the past is like someone who tries to saw sawdust . So I agree with you, if you come out with your new year resolutions but hey!!!! never go to sleep when your dreams are awake, if you do, the year 2017 could be humiliating as well. So don't tire yourself to the past because you can't do anything about it, if every man and every jinn were to try jointly to bring back the past,they'll most certainly fail. Everything on earth marches forward, Am preparing for a new season ??----and so should you .
